Crock-Pot Chili Dogs

Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 onion diced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 red pepper diced
- 1 green pepper diced
- 1 cup celery diced
- 1 can crushed tomatoes 28-ounce can
- 1 package Applegate or Fork in the Road Hot Dogs Uncured from grass-fed beef
- 3 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp basil
- 2 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
Garnish
- 1-2 Avocados diced
Instructions
- Saute onions and garlic together in a large saucepan over medium heat
- Add ground beef to the saucepan, and brown
- Transfer the cooked onions, garlic and meat to your crock-pot
- Add all vegetables and spices (except avocado) to the crock-pot and stir pot
- Place hot dogs on top (or keep them in fridge and fry in pan at meal time)
- Set crock-pot to low and allow to slow cook for about 6-8 hours
- Place hot dogs on plate and spoon into chili on top
- Garnish with avocado. Eat up!
