  • ½ lb green beans
  • 1 tbsp pastured butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon optional
  • salt and ground pepper to taste


  • Wash green beans and trim the ends.
  • Melt butter over medium heat until it browns a bit.
  • Add beans and toss.
  • Add olive oil & cook 5 minutes or until cooked to your liking.
  • Add salt & pepper to taste.
  • Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice (optional)
